The northest point of the Czech republic

The northernmost point of the Czech republic is situated in the village named Severní (meaning Northern) near the village of Lobendava in the Šluknov area with geographic coordinates of 14 ° 19 ‘02.3” east longitude and 51 ° 03’ 33.4” north latitude.
The beeline distance from the northernmost point to the southernmost point of the Czech Republic is 278 km. With beeline distance to the (Baltic)Sea of only 326 km, it is the closest point of all our territories. Even though, there isn’t any signposting leading to this significant geographic point the access is very comfortable and smooth.
The Czech NORDKAP is marked by a boundary stone No. 2 /40.
